Client Reflections

Real stories from clients who have experienced the healing space of Treestone Massage and Hoofstone Acres. Whether through horse medicine or restorative massage, discover the transformational journeys of those who came to restore balance, release tension, and reconnect with themselves.

There are people who choose a career, and then there are people who discover the work they were truly meant to do. Janet is one of those people.

I've been seeing Janet regularly for almost a year, and her care has been a gift in my healing journey. She calls what she does intuitive massage, and I honestly can't think of a better description. Every session, she seems to know exactly what my body needs—even the places I didn't realize were asking for attention. She is the first massage therapist I've ever felt comfortable completely trusting to simply follow her intuition, and she has earned that trust over and over again.

We've worked through chronic pain and long-held tension, and while healing is never instant, I can honestly say I've experienced less pain, greater mobility, and a body that feels stronger and more resilient than it did when we first met. More than that, I've learned what it feels like to truly let go.

What makes Janet extraordinary isn't just her skill—it's the way she holds space. From the moment I arrive, I feel safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. Her treatment room is warm, peaceful, and inviting, but it's Janet herself who creates the real healing environment. She has a remarkable ability to make you feel seen, heard, and supported without ever needing many words.

It's also the little touches that make every appointment so special. Nothing feels rushed or routine. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. One of my favourite parts is the gentle smudging she offers at the end of a session. It's a beautiful way to close the experience and reflects the intention and care she brings to her work. (If that's not for you, don't let that stop you—it's simply one example of the thoughtful, heart-centered care she offers.)

One of the things I admire most about Janet is that she had the courage to leave a completely different career to pursue the work she felt called to do. As someone who has experienced her care firsthand, I can honestly say the world is better because she listened to that calling. This is so much more than a job—it's who she is.

The greatest compliment I can give is that I've trusted her enough to recommend the people I love most. My husband and my dad now see her regularly, my mom is booking an appointment, and I've referred friends as well.

Thank you, Janet, for creating a space where healing feels safe. Thank you for sharing your gifts so generously. Your work has made a meaningful difference in my life, and I will always be grateful that our paths crossed. - NP
